Annoying. Here is how to get it back. Go to System -> Preferences -> KeyBoard In the Layouts Tab click on “Options” Scroll down and click on “Key sequence to Kill the Xserver” Thats it. You are back to having this basic facility.

Where they belong. Run gconf-editor Go to apps -> metacity -> general Double click on edit enter this in the box. menu:minimize,maximize,close Things are back to normal now… (Well apart from the spelling)
